German Chamomile Vitality contains antioxidants and can be taken as a dietary supplement to support well-being, promote feelings of calmness and occasional nervous tension, and support a normal, healthy outlook during PMS.* It has been used in herbal remedies for thousands of years throughout ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Native to Southern and Western Europe and parts of Asia, German Chamomile is a flowering perennial shrub in the Asteraceae family. It is also known as Blue Chamomile, as it contains the naturally occurring constituent chamazulene, which gives the essential oil a deep, rich blue color.
